Preview status
ChattyMaps is an unannounced product preview. These plain-language rules describe responsible use but are not a substitute for final operator-specific terms. Operator identity, governing law, contact details, and any service commitments must be completed before a public commercial launch.
Using the service
You may use ChattyMaps to create and participate in good-faith group decisions about places. You are responsible for the content you submit and for sharing poll links with appropriate people.
Prohibited use
Do not use ChattyMaps for unlawful activity, harassment, threats, impersonation, spam, automated abuse, attempts to bypass limits or security, publication of private personal information, infringement of others' rights, or content that creates a safety risk. Do not rely on an unlisted link as strong access control.
Availability and decisions
The preview is provided without a promised uptime, support level, backup guarantee, or recovery service. Search results, map information, vote totals, and calculated leaders can be incomplete or wrong. Verify important locations and make safety-critical decisions independently.
Poll control and removal
Creator controls belong to the browser session that created the poll. Losing that session currently means losing control. Creators can close or delete their polls. The operator may restrict access to abusive content or traffic when required to protect people, the service, or its providers; a formal reporting and moderation process remains a public-launch requirement.
Third-party services
ChattyMaps depends on Cloudflare and OpenStreetMap services. Their availability and rules are outside ChattyMaps' control. Place information does not constitute an endorsement of a venue or guarantee that it exists, is open, accessible, or suitable.
